According to traditional Indian culture the Indian subcontinent undergoes six seasons, with the approximate duration of each being two months. These are as follows: spring, summer, monsoons, early autumn, late autumn & winter. But according to the modern climatic studies Indiaa has only three predominant seasons they are summer season, rainy season and winter season.

The summer months lasts from about March to june. Rainy season or the Monssoon arrives during June all over India, usually. But is's not being like usual this year. It's 20 th June already and no sign of a single colud in the sky. And it is leading lines worrying on our foreheads. Of course fear of a drought comes in mind.

The Monsoon is always so uncertain. Some times its too much rain, and sometimes no rain. There are unfortunate places which suffer from drought and just couple of months after, from floods.

Rainy season is much awaited in India, in northern part of the country specially, because of warm and dull summers. In India, is summers., temperature goes up to 470 C (about 1160 F). There's a deadly warm wind blowing whole day as well, which is called "Loo" in North and west of India, And daytime in sujmer means try to be indoors. South and east India are are luckier that west and north India in case of getting rain. A Large quantity of water rises from the seas, lakes and rivers by evaporation. It goes up in the air. When it rises of water, the tiny drops come closes to each other from clouds. As the clouds cool further, the tiny drops become large and heav. These fall down in the form of rain. The clouds are also formed by condensation when water contents of the colouds cools beyound certain point, it comes down in the form of rain.

After 3 months of hot summer, when the rain drops touch the ground, it naturally feels like life is back. There are dark cliuds in the sky, and it rains. We enjoy seeing the dar, heavy monsoon clouds in the sky. When it rains. the weather becomes nice and acool when it is not raining, the weather becomes hot and humid. Environment goes greener and greener. And this is strart of new academic year in schools and college. When we go out during the rain, we need to carry an umbrella or wear a rain coat. The roads and footpaths become wet and slippy. Rains are good for plants. grow very well in this season.

This time of celebration and joy. With a lush green environment. And beginning of a series of Hindu festivals and occasions one after another.

The next month Bhaadi (Or Bhadrpad) gets heavy rain too. And the series of religious festival is continued in this month also. Before the month Saavan, there is month Aasaarh which is beginning of the monsoon. Aasaarh get heavy rain which fulfils the earth with water. After Bhaado, it's almost end of this season with some rain. Then country prepares for the winters.

The rainy season can be said the most important season for India: since it decides how much rain different part s of the country gets. Some places have drought, some places have floods. and some places have both in same year. Monsoon is responsible for deciding the fate of farmers hera because agriculture is so much depended on monsoon. So this season decides if farmers are going to have good year or bad. In north and west India., most of the rain of whole year comes in this season and rest of year con be quite dry. So water sources has to be filled in this season as well. But too much rain can cause floods / Floods can damage buildings and also crops and lives of animals and human beings.

Tsunami was come because of rain. The water is come to home due to rain. We are helplessness own count of rain. We should help the people being the people in rain. We Ccall it a day of owing of rain. We are out of house so at the eleventh hours rain is come so we are unable to walk Therefor, we should know what is rain ? The cars, buses, train are unable to running becuses of rain.

We play some games in the rain. For example rainy football, hockey etc. Every person are feeling happoy in the rain. But to much rain some people are very sorrow. Our country's farmers are depend of rain., because rain is very important of every person's life.
